International Women’s Day 2019

Here’s to strong women.

This is a day that’s important to us here at JAC, and we’re proud to say we have multiple extremely strong, talented, and kind women on our team.

PAT ATKINS – Co-Owner/Project Manager

Pat grew up in the small community of St. Jacques, on the South coast of the province, and moved to St. John’s after high school to go to college. She currently lives in Paradise with husband John, and their two children, Faith and Nick. When not running a business, her sense of adventure always gets the best of her. “I love exploring in my Jeep Rubicon, camping, taking pictures, and spending time with my family and closest friends. Jeep, gym, tea, and laughter. It’s what keeps me sane!”

SHANNON SMITH – Social Media Specialist

Born in Calgary, Alberta, Shannon moved to NL at the age of 4. After completing high school, she went on to graduate with a B.Comm degree at MUN and later attended George Brown College in Toronto to complete a post grad program in Sports and Events Marketing. Shannon joined JAC in November 2016. Outside of the office, she spends her time outdoors exploring different parts of the province, cooking up new vegetarian recipes and dipping into her wine collection! Oh, and have we mentioned her small obsession with Starbucks?

LINDSEY BRENNAN – Graphic Designer

Lindsey is a graphic designer and visual artist from Torbay, NL. I have always been interested in being creative and that has helped shaped who I am today. After graduating high school I moved to Corner Brook to study visual arts at Grenfell College where I completed my B.F.A (Visual) in 2012.
