Mercer’s Marine is an outdoor and lifestyle retailer based in Clarenville, NL. Beginning as a retailer of marine and fishing equipment, their product offerings soon grew to include an incredibly wide range of merchandise.
And with an absolutely expansive warehouse and an online store that is integrated into their point-of-sale system, we knew that we would have to pull out all the stops to seamlessly blend our system with theirs.

This website presented a formidable challenge for our development team. Most of the e-commerce systems we deal with we get the advantage of building in-house. With the Mercer’s Marine website, we had to do an incredible amount of research into how to merge our system with theirs and create a seamless experience for users.
Strategy
Thanks to some supporting documents and late nights, we finally found a way to allow the client to keep their inventory system but wrap a fresh new design and content management system around it. They now have a beautiful new site that gives them full control over featuring products and promotions while being able to easily pull data from their existing inventory.
