Go Topless Day NL 2018

$5,740 raised for Go Topless Day NL!

Newfoundland began hosting the nation-wide Go Topless Day event in 2011 as an annual Spring tradition which celebrates all the fun and adventure that comes with owning a Jeep – while supporting our local community!

Pat Atkins and John Atkins, the owners of JAC became major sponsors and organizers of Go Topless Day NL in 2016. To say JAC is honoured to be part of this tradition is an understatement. Not only were thrilled to be able to support one of our own this year, but we also broke the record and made this Go Topless Day the most successful one yet! Ryan Blair, and his beautiful wife Ayla Blair were presented with a donation of $5,740.

A little about Ryan..

Ryan Blair was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor a short time ago. His love for Jeeps started with one of his best friends, Fred Sharpe. According to Fred, he was with Ryan when he got his first one, and may have been a little bit of an influence on Ryan! Needless to say, there have been many adventures since then.  Ryan not only loves his Jeep, but is also an avid outdoorsman! Being from Churchill Falls, this comes as no surprise. He loves fishing, camping, snowboarding, target shooting and spending time at the cabin.  There is a saying “There’s a superhero inside of all of us…we just need the courage to put on the cape.” If anyone deserves that title, it’s Ryan Blair

On behalf of the Go Topless Day organizers, sponsors, and volunteers, we would like to say a huge thank-you to all of you who have contributed to this awesome cause!  We hope Ryan has a speedy recovery and wish only the best for him and his family!
